About Angie Heitzer

My real estate career began long before I ever sold a home.
With nearly 18 years in hotel management — overseeing as many as 33 hotels across 16 states — I built a foundation in operations, customer service, negotiation, and high-pressure decision-making. I later moved into working directly for a hotel owner/developer, managing everything from staff training and financials to preparing due-diligence packages and negotiating multimillion-dollar sales.

That experience led me naturally into commercial real estate, where I managed five hotels, then expanded into the oversight of 1.5M+ square feet of retail, mixed-use, office, and hospitality property.

During COVID, my husband Jim and I bought a second home on Amelia Island — thinking it would become our “One Day” home in five years. But life had other plans. Within a year, we sold our Atlanta home and made Fernandina Beach our full-time lifestyle.

And truly, it’s everything we hoped it would be — the small-town charm, the food scene, the walkability, and the genuine sense of community. There really is a place for everyone here.
